NSF Noyce Summer Scholarships for Freshmen and Sophomores
The NSF Noyce summer program provides a $2,500 stipend for current freshmen and sophomores to serve in summer community outreach programs such as summer camps, museums, and nature centers. Individuals selected for the award will present activities and demonstrations in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for youth and the general public. The program includes a two days of training and ongoing support during the summer.

- Describe how you exemplify the characteristics sought in a Noyce Intern and how the outreach experience would affect your growth as someone who has a strong interest in or is majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics). (Approximate length of the essay should be 2-3 double-spaced pages with a one-inch margin, size 10-12 font.)
